Supramolecular chemistry has experienced rapid development over the past decades, especiallythe drug supramolecule has become one of the hottest research fields. This is due to supra-molecular chemistry has lower toxicity, safety, fewer adverse reaction, stronger drug targeting,bioavailability, smaller multidrug resistance, better biocompatibility, higher efficacy and its lowerdevelopment costs, shorter cycle, larger the likelihood of success and other advantages. Herein,several ligands containing heterocycle and appropriate metal ions have been selected used to builda series of diverse structural types of supramolecules. The resulting supramolecules have beencharacterized by a variety of techniques, and their thermal stabilities and fluorescence et al havebeen explored. This thesis includes the following five chapters.In Chapter1, research background and the significance of the topic, focusing on drug supra-molecules, in particular, the potential applications and research status of antimicrobial agentssupramolecular were summarized. The challenges remained in this area were discussed.In Chapter2, adopting5-nitrooritic acid potassium salt as ligand, through coordination bondsand hydrogen bonds with transition metal of Cd2+, the second ligand (4,4’-bpy, phen, bpp) by thesolution and hydrothermal methods we got supramolecules1-6. Single-crystal X-ray diffractionindicate that compound2was mononuclear structure, compounds1and6were1D structures,compounds3-5were2D structures. Thermal stability of the compounds except4and5, can reachto300o C. Compounds1-6have a strong emission peak at400nm.In Chapter3, antibacterial drugs sulfadiazine reacted with transition metal (Cd2+/Zn2+/Ni2+/Co2+)yield supramolecules7-20. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction indicate that compounds9,10,13,14,17and18were1D structures, compounds7,8,11,12,15,16,19and20were mononuclearstructures. Thermal stability of the compounds showed that compounds8-10can reach to300o C.In Chapter4, antibacterial drugs sulfaquinoxaline reacted with transition metal (Cd2+/Zn2+/Ni2+) under hydrothermal/solvethermal conditions yield sixteen supramolecules21-36. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction indicate that there are single-core, dual-core, one and two dimensionalstructures in the compounds21-36. The fluorescence properties of21,23,26,27were studied.In Chapter5, a briefly conclusion and outlook was given.
