Study On Viscoplastic Metal Cutting Burr

Through the study of viscoplastic metal cutting burr, this dissertation expands thestudy scope of metal cutting burr, and enlarge people’s knowledge about the formation ofthe viscoplasticity state metal cutting burr. Based on the study and analysis of metalcutting theory, the burr forms and viscoplastic theory, this dissertation does a systemictheoretic and experimental study on the viscoplasticity metal cutting burr.Based on the theory of metal cutting and metal cutting mechanics analysis ofviscoplastic metal cutting force, established the viscoplasticity metal removal mechanicalmodel. On the basis of classification of the burr, combining viscoplastic metal sawingprocess, it preliminary analysis the primary and secondary cutting edge burr shape andcutting direction the forming process of the various burr.Constitutive flow stress model of material suitable for the simulation of viscoplasticmetal cutting, chip separation criteria, knife-chip contact model is analyzed to determinethe boundary conditions of finite element simulation. Based on this, it has carried on thefinite element simulation using the finite element software, obtained the primary andsecondary cutting edge direction of cut burr forming process simulation result, and hascarried on the analysis to the simulation result.Lastly, through lead cutting test, obtain the results. Then we make an analysis andcomparison among the trial result, simulation result and theory result, so as to study theimpact of the law of the tool geometry and cutting parameters of deflection on main andside cutting edge cutting direction burr.Through this research enriched the formation theory of viscoplasticity metal cuttingburr, and constructs the finite element model. In particular, the analysis of the formation ofdeputy cutting edge direct burr and the simulation result of finite element enlargecomprehension and knowledge on the formation of side cutting edge cutting directionburr.
