Assemed backup roll of cold rolling mill is a newly developed technology of backuproll manufacture, roll sheath has good wear resistance and roll cone can be used repeatedly,and can greatly reduce the production cost of the steel rolling. The process parameters,such as size, convexity, surface friction coefficient and amount of surplus, will not onlyaffect the stress distribution, but also the service performance and the productionefficiency by affecting the roll elastic flattening of the cold rolling process, deformationand the distribution of contact pressure. Therefore, the study on key process parameters ofassumed backup roll, as well as the development of establishing a new technology ofmanufacturing the assumed backup roll has a great significance in improving Chinesebackup roll of cold rolling mill manufacturing level and gradually realizing highperformance backup rolls of localization. The research objects is 1220 cold mill firstrolling framing, and the main contents are as follows:First of all, for the characteristics of strictly demanding of assembly stress whenusing the assemed backup roll and thermal assembling of roll sheath and roll cone, thethesis analyses the main factors which impact the assembly stress and presents the solutionmodel of the magnitude of interference of thermal assembling through the theoreticalanalysis and software simulation and give the models of minimum interference of drivingroller or driving backup roll. Based on the above research, the thesis also analyses theinfluence regularity of the assembly stress affected by various factors, such as themagnitude of interference, the thickness, the friction coefficient between roll sheath androll cone. Finally a set of key technology in manufacturing the assemed backup roll isformed.Secondly, in order to study the characteristics of the assumed backup roll’s elasticdeformation regularity, the thesis combining the structure characteristics of the assemedbackup roll presents a set of mathematical model suiting for the roll elastic deformation ofassemed backup roll mill. At the mean time, the new mathematical model is also based on the superposition principle of mechanic of materials, deflection formula of assemedbackup roll and elastic flatness.Finally, mathematical model for analyzing shape of assemed backup roll mill is buildby the combination of the mathematical model and metal deformation model. Regardingtypical specifications strip of 1220 cold mill first rolling framing as an example. The thesismade a quantitative analysis to the assemed backup roll and verified its practicality inaspects of transverse distribution of rolling pressure, roll flattening, deflection of backuproll and transverse distribution of front tension by numerical simulation of C languageprogram.
