Abstract/Summary:
The effects of microwave、ultrasonic&irradiation treatments on oil yield of Camellia Oil,the microstructural of oilseeds, main physicochemical indexes, fatty acid compositions of theoil were analyzed.The result of microwave treatment on teaseeds show:microwave treatment couldimprove the extraction rate, Soxhlet time significantly reduced to 1-2 h, microwave best processingtime for 120 s, with the oil rate of 43.07%; Also, micronizing has a certain influence to the fatty acidcomposition; also increase the POV significantlyThe technology of extracting oil from Camellia by ultrasonic was studied.ByBox-Behnken, the individual effect&interaction on oil yield were discussed, while ultrasonictime, ultrasonic temperature, solid-liquid ratio as arguments, and oil yield as response valuebased on the single-factor experiments. And the predictive model of regression equation wassimulated by the Design expert software. The optimum conditions were: solid-to-liquid ratio1/5.9 (g/ml); ultrasonic temperature 48.97℃; extraction time:37.78 min. Under the optimumconditions,the extraction rate was 40.41 %.The result of irradiation treatment on teaseeds show: irradiation treatment could improvethe extraction speed, and the best irradiation dose is 6 KGy, with the oil rate of 41.60% by Soxhletextration for 2 h;but irradiation treatment increased POV significantly; the POV increased firstand then decreased with preservation time.Meanwhile, irradiation treatment has a certaininfluence to the fatty acid composition.Compared with conventional extractions, camellia oil processed by microwave,ultrasonic or irradiation has light colour, good stability, especially short extracting time&highoil yield. Microwave&irradiation make the oil’POV higher, while other physicochemicalproperties are normal; the treatments will change fatty acid composition certainly, but notsignificantly.While these physical enhanced extractions will avoid excessiveheating&chemical processing, avoid hazardous material caused by high temperature and alsokeep the VE&squalene‘s physiological active; Meanwhile, to assist enzymatic hydrolysishave obvious superiority.
