In this paper, we mainly study of the wollastonite, sericite filled with modified nylon1212, and research of the preparation of the inorganic filler modified nylon1212composites and the influence of the Inorganic fillers on the performance of nylon1212composites. We choose has been Industrial production and have the independent intellectual property rights of long carbon chain nylon1212as the modified resin matrix. the investigations on composite materials based on nylon and the Inorganic Fillers have larger practical significance and application value. At the same time the solid lubricant PTFE were used to improve the tribological property of composites. The mechanical properties, the friction and wear properties, the worn surfaces morphology and the thermal properties of nylon/Inorganic Fillers/PTFE composite systems were investigated. The main conclusions can be summarized as following:(1) Use the right amount of KH-550to treatment the surface of wollastonite, and then add the surface treatment good wollastonite powder to the nylon1212. the results of filed test indicated that the tensile strength, flexural strength and flexural modulus of the composites has improved greatly. which reached the maximum with the wollastonite content of40%, However, the impact strength was reduced.(2) The thermal properties of composites have risen visibly with adding wollastonite. Wollastonite adds can greatly improve the heat deflection temperature of the composites greatly, and reduce the coefficient of thermal expansion of the composites. Wollastonite adds also can effectively reduce the water absorption of the composites, improve the dimensional stability of the composites.(3) The mechanical properties of composites were visible improved with the sericite of50%treated by silane coupling agents KH-550, and the tensile strength, flexural strength and flexural modulus of the composites has improved greatly, the impact strength of the composites did not decline in the great degree at the same time.(4) Sericite adds can greatly improve the heat deflection temperature of the composites greatly, and reduce the coefficient of thermal expansion of the composites. It also can effectively reduce the water absorption of the composites.(5) Sericite adds can visible improve the tribological and wear-resistant properties of the composites, and can reduce the friction coefficient of the composites. When the sericite content of50%, the friction coefficient of the composites only58%of the coefficient of friction of the pure nylon1212.(6) To improve the abrasion resistance of the composites further, we add the solid lubricant PTFE at the sericite content of50%. The experiments result shows that PTFE adds can further readuce the friction coefficient of the composites, improve the abrasion resistance of the composites, and also can maintain the mechanical properties of the composites.(7) SEM is used to study the worn surfaces of PA1212and its composites. The result shows that the friction and wear mechanisms of PA1212were much more complex. The process is very complex and includes plowing wear, adhesive wear and fatigue wear. The friction and wear behavior of PA1212composites with amount of sericite and solid lubricant were improved, showing some fatigue wear. The fracture surface of PA1212and its composite were also studied. The moderate amount of surface treatment agent was helpful not only for the dispersion of the rigid inorganic particles in the resin mass, but also for the solid lubricant dispersion in the matrix resin.
