Heavy-duty friction pairs are one of the key components of the molding equipment, the tribological properties of friction pairs are important for equipment performance, energy efficient design and manufacturing technology of heavy-duty friction pairs are one of the key technologies of the type of equipment. The heavy-duty friction pairs materials we commonly use are mainly copper-matrix composites and zinc-matrix composites, but at this stage, the metal-based backing polymer self-lubrication materials are one of the main trends in overloaded self-lubricating materials development, the tribological properties of the polymer self-lubrication composites are not only better than the copper alloy friction pairs, but also non-polluting, simple molding process, low production costs and so on.The goal of this thesis is to develop high-performance carbon fiber fabric reinforced self-lubricating composite by studying the matrix material-the mechanical properties of resin and carbon fiber fabric reinforced self-lubricating composite tribological properties, at the same time,we discussed the formula and its components of the composite and the impact of the components on the performance of composites. We research the Composite materials group, the proportion of the lubricant preparation process, the carbon fiber pretreatment. The results showed:the increase of the plasticizer dibutyl phthalate’s content in the formula will reduce the compression performance of the matrix material, but to some extent, enhance the impact properties of the matrix material, but the increase of the curing agent will enhance the compression performance of the matrix material, but it will reduce the impact properties of the matrix material, the better of them is73:10:20; the gel content of the composite have a great impact on the compression performance, but it has little effect on impact properties; By the test results, we obtain the optimum formula:73%of the total mass of resin, plasticizer7.6%,thinner3.8%, curing agents15.6%, bonding tensile strength of the matrix material is12.69MPa,the impact strength is20.46KJ/M2, and the compressive strength is80.50MPa, After add carbon fiber and graphite lubricant, molybdenum disulfide, talc, bonding tensile strength of the composite is16.96MPa, the impact strength is47.28KJ/M7, the compressive strength is494.57MPa; By changing the content of lubricant graphite, MoS2, talc, the paper studied the friction and wear properties of composites, the three contents have different effects on the tribological properties of the composites. With the increase of graphite content, the dry friction coefficient of the composites decreased, but the oil friction coefficient gradually increases; MoS2has the same effect on the tribological properties of the composites; With the increase of talc, the dry friction coefficient and oil friction coefficient showed a tendency to increase, but when its content reaches a certain value, the tribological properties have some improvement; We can learn from the test results: the dry friction coefficient of composite materials range from0.066to0.13, oil friction coefficient range from0.052to0.084, compared to the dry friction coefficient,the oil friction coefficient decreased by about1/4; Graphite, the better ratio of MoS2, talc is2:7:3, the dry friction coefficient of composites0.066, oil friction coefficient of0.052; At the same time, experiment contrast the tribological properties of composite-45#steel and bronze-45#steel, By test results and the scanning electron microscope (SEM), we can know:Under the same experimental conditions, the surface of the counterpart of the composites has a layer of transfer film, the friction coefficient is lower than the bronze and a smaller amount of wear, compared with the bronze composite, the composite has tribological properties.By studying the tribological properties of NO.16composites under different loads, different speed, we can know:with the increase of load and speed, the dry friction coefficient and oil friction coefficient of composites are increasing, but when the load increases to a certain extent, the rate of increase of friction coefficient will be the smaller, but when speed increased to a certain value, the friction coefficient began to fall.The mechanical properties and tribological properties of carbon fiber reinforced resin self-lubricating composites are superior to the commonly copper-based composites and zinc-based composites, and they have the simple process, low cost, energy saving and environmental protection, at the same time, they have obvious social and economic benefits. These will help to solve the technical bottlenecks in the development of forging machinery to promote the overall upgrade of the related equipment.
