Study On The Impact Of Urban Drainage System To The Main Pollutant Concentration Of Sewage Treatment Plants Influent

Urban drainage pipelines and sewage treatment plants are not only a city’s important municipal infrastructure, but also the basic guarantee of prevention and control of water pollution, drains and flood defences. During the eleventh five-year plan, although it was realized that government had built sewage treatment plants in every county in Guangdong province, but because there are many problems in drainage system, making the main pollutant concentration of inflow water in sewage treatment plants is serious lower, and it greatly influences the operation efficiency and the main pollutant reduction of sewage treatment plant. Study on the impact of urban drainage system to the main pollutant concentration of sewage treatment plant, in order to improve the inflow water COD concentration of sewage treatment plant and the level of optimization and management to drainage pipe network. It is great significance to the construction, management and perfect of the drainage pipelines in our country, to the improvement of the operation efficiency and COD reduction of sewage treatment plant, also to the protection of water environment.The urban drainage system which is of Longjiang town, Shunde district, Foshan city is select as the object of study in the paper. The writer investigated and analyzed the present situation of the water’s supply and drainage of the town, monitored the town’s raw sewage and the main pollutants concentration in each drainage unit, then using the mathematical statistics method to analyze the COD concentration characteristics of the urban raw sewage and the change characteristics of sewage COD concentration in the conveying process, including municipal pipeline, combined and separate truck pipeline, sewage truck pipe, Sewage pumping station and sewage treatment plant. Through comparing change situation of sewage COD concentration in the collection and transmission process, writer analyzed the cause of lower sewage COD concentration. Writer researched the impact of urban drainage system to the main pollutant concentration of sewage treatment plant, analyzed and summarized the main problems of drainage pipelines and drainage facilities and the reason which caused the main pollutants the main pollutant concentration was lower, after that optimization project of the drainage system and the method to improving the main pollution concentration method of inflow water in the sewage treatment plant were put forward.Finally, in the practice, the research results of this thesis were used to guide Longjiang to carry out the rectification and optimization, achieving significant improvement effect. After rectification, the town’s drainage pipelines was more perfect, the collection rate of sewage and the main pollutants concentration of inflow water in sewage treatment plant had been improved greatly. Operation efficiency of wastewater treatment plant reached to the government requirements. So, it has a good environment, economic and social benefits.
