Fossil fuel is the main energy we use all the time, which is non renewableresource. But with the development of industry, the desire of energy is becomingmore and more serious. The biomass energy is a kind of renewable source, and tofind and use biomass energy can obviously release the environmental crisis andenergy crisis. It is very important for protecting environment to study theconversion technology, recycling waste material. Extruding the biomass (straw)into solid fuel is one of methods.The forming conditions are very significant for forming biomass (straw)fuel. By suppression experiment, this article mainly studied the forming state ofcorn straw at different moisture content, molding temperature, forming degree,molding pressure, forming power and particle size, and the best formingcondition, which provided industry parameter for the process of forming.According to the relational conical twin-screw articles, the formingcharacter of straw fuel and the theory of extrusion machine, this article showedthe design of Twin-screw Extruder. At the same time, the whole machine wasmodeled in the three dimension modeling software Pro/E5.0.The screw and the barrel were the center parts of the extrusion machine, sotheir structures were reasonable or not, which decide the function of extrusionmachine. This article used the element software ANSYS12.0to analysis screwand barrel, which proved the reasonable of their structure, and was useful forchanging their structures. Meanwhile, this article studied the reasons for screwwear and the measures to delay the wear. The heat power was gained bycalculated according to the formula. The production ability was obtained bycalculating the C cavity, getting the quantity of extrusion of the machine.Based on the motion simulation function of the software Pro/E5.0, thisarticle showed the kinematics,dynamic run of twin-screw and torque distributionbox, which made the rotate way more obvious,meanwhile, gets all the dynamics parameters.The study of this article is useful for the design of extrusion machine ofbiomass fuels (straw),the forming condition and the parameter.
