The traditional garment processing industry is a labor intensive industry, which is not suitble for rapid economic development of China. It attributes to it’s low profit and heavy pollution to the enviroment. These years, as the incressing of the labor cost, the government strengthens the ecological improvement. More and more garment processing enterprises have been transfered to low labor cost developing countires, such as Laos, Vietnam and so on developing countries of Southeast Asia with relative backward economy. While, much more enterprises and economists in China are thinking about one question that how to change“Made in China”to“Created in China”that has high economy value. In fact,as the biggest constraint to solving this problem, how to develop the adding value of the products is the competitive goal of most enterprises.With the high speed development of economy, the lifestyle requirment is improving fastly as well as the living standard of people. It give higher requirment of the aesthetica and function of garment, especailly for homewear industry which has become the emerging field of the garment industry these years. With the living improvement of people, family life is becoming one of the most important parts of life, and people pay more attention to the daily wear not only the work wear. So the homewear appears when people gradully realize the importence of family life.As the effect of‘Made in China’, the traditional homewear can’t satisfy the family life depont of people from design color to function any more. The adding value of homewear leads the bad expand of homewear marketing. It becomes a hard problem that how to improve the adding value of homewear to satisfy the demond of enterprises and people.Except enhancing product branding, we should find the key point to solve the problem from the product itself. This thesis subdivides the products of the homewear market and aims at the wearing characteristics and wearing occasion to present the more reasionable design concept of style and function. It will improve the product quality from color, patterns and fabric to increase the profit margins of homewear, and finally to throw the title of‘Made in China’to become the high addded value products for homewear.
