Water jet incremental forming technology is a new type of sheet metal forming process, which has been developed from the combination of traditional single point incremental forming and water jetting in recent years. It uses high pressure water column head instead of rigid tools, which is more flexible than traditional single point incremental forming. Besides, it is a green forming processing for no need of lubricating oil, which has no pollution to the environment. To sum up, it belongs to the category of green processing. In this paper, the approximate relationship between the jet pressure and inclination angle is calculated by using the established plane strain model. Besides, the layered strain and stress of deformation zone are analyzed during incremental forming process. And then proposing the method of predicting wether sheets occur rupture .Theses provide the theory basis for the following test.We determine the processing parameters of the cone parts and the process track spacing range by using the test, and probe the influence on the parts of the processing track spacing according to the single direction. Addition, we aslo reserch all kinds of defects during forming process and put forward correspond views to solve such problems.About processing path, by using the way of from inside to outside and from outside to inside and the reverse ring trajectory for forming cone parts of different processing path. We analyze the case of parts, and achieve the corresponding conclusion. We aslo put forward the best plan of processing route and provide the different processing route of the cone parts change into straight wall cylindrical parts.
