With the development of science and technology, cinnamaldehyde and cinnamyl alcohol are used more and more widely and the application fields also be expanded. Because of sterilization, retain freshness, deodorization function and good at keep sweet effect, they are widely applied to the spices, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and additive, etc.In this paper, cinnamic aldehyde was prepared by self-made efficient catalyst firstly, and the influence of reactant ratio,reaction temperature,reaction time,catalyst dosage,phase transfer catalyst dosage on the product yield of cinnamaldehyde was discusses. The optimization of the reaction conditions was reached. At a condition of K3AIF6 as catalyst,PEG-6000 as solvent,Benzaldehyde:acetaldehyde= 1.2:1 (mole ratio),K3AlF6 dosage 2g (0.1 mol acetaldehyde plan),reaction temperature of 35℃,the reaction time is 30 min,the cinnamic aldehyde outcome can be reached to 94.0%. It’s a simple, single product structure high yield and good quality process.That is much higher than the natural ectract and general sythetic yield.Then using homemade metal alcohol salt as catalyst, cinnamaldehyde and benzyl alcohol as the raw materials, cinnamyl alcohol was synthesized by reactive distillation method. The influence of influence factors such as reactant ratio, reaction temperature, reaction time, catalyst dosage, etc in the preparation process of synthesize cinnamon alcohol was discusses. The optimization of the reaction conditions was reached. In this process, with home-made composite catalyst 5%(the mass ratio of Cinnamon aldehyde), reaction time 8.0 h, temperature 70℃, percentage of 70.5% cinnamyl alcohol can be collected after vacuum distillation.Finally, the reaction kinetics of synthesis cinnamyl alcohol was discussed.
