Ⅰ Photon,as a new innovation force in the field of science and technology,can greatly improve the speed and capacity of process information in compared with electronic.The key of this innovative technology is the optical device,that is, develop novel optical materials with ultra-fast response and the matching technology.As we know, nonlinear optical materials is an important component of new photovoltaic materials,so,in the article,a review was given on method and process of the third-order nonlinear optical materials,based on a great deal of related literatures of them, a series of related compounds were designed.We also study the potential non-linear nature of the product by use the scientific and convenient method (solid-state polymerization) on the basis of reviewing updated and extensive literatures.Ⅱ Polymers can be obtained by1,2-addtion in the solid state which is topochemically controlled where in the packing arrangements of the molecules in the monomer crystal lattice must satisfy the requirements for solid-state polymerization (Scheme1).Ⅲ In order to improve the potential third-order nonlinear nature of the product,we select diacetylene derivatives with special properties in the third-order nonlinear optical materials as the research object.Through the design of molecular structure and synthetic route,We designed1,4-bis(4-aminophenyl)-1,3-diacetylene (C3),1,8-bis (4- aminophenyl)-1,3,5,7-octatetraylene(C7),12-bis(4-aminophenyl)-1,3,5,7,9,11-dodecah exayne (C11),etc (Scheme2).All the complexes were characterized by Infra-red spectra(IR),1H Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectra(1HNMR),13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectra(13CNMR),Mass spectra(MS),Ultra-Visible spectra(UV) to determine whether they are the target products. Ⅳ Conjugated structure was increased with the increase in the number of triple bond through solution UV and fluorescence would be found. More intramolecular energy levels lead to transition way also increased, therefore appeared the UV absorption redshift and multiplefluorescence emission phenomenon. When we use the heating and UV irradiation to solid phase polymerization, found the conjugate structure more larger the polymerization more difficult and the asymmetric diacetylene derivative more easily achieve solid state polymerization than the symmetrical diacetylene derivatives.
