The insulating glass, with high efficient, energy saving and environmental protection, has been widely used in transportation, refrigeration and other industries recent years. Meanwhile, the equipments of insulating glass production line have also been rapidly developed. The Automatic Vertical Arrissing Machine (referred to as AVAM) which is mainly researched in this thesis is one of the most important of these equipments. In the past, AVAM mainly rely on imports from abroad, and this caused large equipment maintenance costs, so the research and development of China’s own AVAM is particularly important.The research subject of this thesis is just the AVAM, researched and developed by North China University and Technology, the dynamic characteristics of this machine are studied. This thesis is based on the dynamic analysis acquisition of the mechanical structure of modal parameters, such as natural frequency, mode shapes and damping. Then the influences of the modal parameters to the structural dynamic are obtained. In order to study the dynamic characteristics of the AVAM, this thesis conducted in-depth theoretical stud on the two main methods of kinetic analysis: finite element modal analysis and experimental modal analysis.First of all, the machine modal is modeled and simplified under the use of the3D modeling software Solidworks2008, then import in the ANSYS Workbench12, after all the preprocessing has finished, the modal analysis is conducted. The first six modal frequencies and mode shapes are obtained. By analysis the results, the weak parts of the mechanical structure have been identified, that is the obvious partial vibration of the supporting frame, and the feasible solutions are proposed.Secondly, through the comparative analysis of the experimental modal analysis methods, the most applicable test method is finally confirmed, that is no-contact force hammer incentive MISO of experimental analysis method. Make the software DASP ET-2006as the platform to conduct the experimental modal analysis of the whole AVAM. By measuring the stimulation and response, all the transfer functions of the excitation point are obtained, with the use of frequency domain global curve fitting method, the modal fitting is finished. At last, with the contraction of the finite element modal analysis and experimental modal analysis method, indicating the advantages of the combination of the two methods, the relative error of the two methods are given. Based on the given data, the weak modal and vibration components are find out. make the necessary structural changes to the structure of the weak modal.
