The templated self-assembly silica has obvious advantages of traditional fabrication methods. Templates are functioned as both architectural and stabilizing agents. The expected structure can be achieved by tuning templates’shape and size. In addition, the experimental apparatus is simple, and chemical process is easy. The less chemicals are consumed, and the better is the environment protected. This does satisfy the requirement of sustainable development. Templated self-assembly is a practical and effective method to fabricate nanomaterials.In this thesis, different templates of triblock copolymers were mixed with precursor solution to study the influence of concentration and types of templates on the fabrication of silica-based nanomaterials. Then zinc acetate and titanium ethoxide were used as impurities during nanofabrication, respectively. Nanomaterials fabricated were characterized by XRD, FTIR and SEM, results as shown as following.◆Inter and intra-molecular network structures were generated by self-assembly in the solution of Pluronic triblock copolymers. The relative micellar structures depended on the size of PEO and PPO block. Compared of the star-like micelle of F127and F68, the micelle of P123was crew-cut.◆The type and concentration of a template, impurities and other factors had an effect on the fabrication of nano-silica, and resulted in different nano-silica XRD and FTIR phenomena.◆When the precursor hydrated silica hydrolyzed from TEOS entered in the space of the network of a template, hydrogen bonds between hydrated silica molecules of and templates led to a stable complex solution. If zinc acetate was mixed in hydrated silica, molecules of zinc acetate would penetrate into the gap of a complex structure.. If the impurity was titanium ethoxide, Ti4+molecules would replace the position of some hydrated silica molecules, due to the weaker hydrogen bonds.◆Non-crystalline silica was synthesized in this research, only spherical nanoparticles.◆Silica with zinc or titanium was a thin and amorphous nanostructured film.
