Pesticide residue is the significant factor that affects safety of foods. Effective determination method is the guarantee for food safety. Currently, more strict demand of maximum residue limit of pesticide needs more sensitive determination methods. For the real demand, an enrichment sorbents was synthesized and applied for pretreatment in the determination of trace tribenuron-methyl (TBM) in real samples. In this article, a molecularly functionalized polymer for selective separation of TBM was synthesized by bulk polymerization method using TBM as the template molecule, methacrylic acid as the functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the cross-linker and2,2’-azobisisobutyronitrile as the initiator. The experiment results showed that polymerization conditions had important influence on the adsorption and selective recognition ability of the imprinted polymer. When the imprined polymer was polymerized with the solvent of4.00mL N,N-dimethylformamide and2.00mL toluene, the mol ratio of template molecule, functional monomer and cross-linker of1:3:7, the reaction temperature of60℃, and the removing of template molecule by accelerated solvent extractor, it had higher sorption capacity and selective ability. The resulted imprinted polymer was evaluated by static absorption, kinetic absorption and selective experiments. It indicated that the imprinted polymer had high selective ability and and fast mass transfer rate.95.60%of TBM could be adsorbed by the prepared material after adsorbing for8h, and adsorption equilibrium was obtained within10h at TBM concentration of10.00mg L-1. The distribution coefficient for TBM on the imprinted polymer is66.90mL g-1, higher than on the non-imprinted polymer of5.31mL g"1.The polymer was further used as the solid phase extraction material to determine trace TBM coupled with high performance liquid chromatography, as a result, the recoveries of the method were from90.18to92.69%and the RSD%were less than2.52in the water and soil samples. The experiment offered a new type of adsorption material for detection TBM and the method which is simple and accurate can meet the requirements of trace residues in pesticide.
