There is an enormous demand for chemical sensors in many areas. High sensitivity and easy operation are two main issues for sensor development. Fluorescence techniques can easily fulfill these requirements and therefore fluorescent-based sensors appear as one of the most promising candidates for chemical sensing. However, the design of sensors should take into account the influence of various factors. Besides, with the development of society, composite material has become an inevitable trend. The polymeric materials have many advantages such as abundant raw materials, good flexibility, easy processability, and so on. Small organic molecules can be incorporated in many types of optically transparent polymers which can lead to a wide variety of advanced materials with unique properties. In this paper, we mainly describe the synthesis and photochemical sensing properties of several organic polymeric fluorescent hybrid materials:1. Synthesis and chromatic characterization of polydiacetylene functionalized with terpyridine:A diacetylene monomer functionalized with terpyridine was synthesized by aldol reaction, Krohnke cyclization reaction and esterification. After the photopolymerization, thermochromic behavior was investigated in solution and PVA film. In present system, PDA solution showed a color change from blue to red when the temperature was increased from30℃to70℃. The purple color were recovered when the sample was cooled to30℃. Obviously, this is a partially reversible chromatic response. And the color-changing properties of PDA-embedded PVA film and PDA solution were similar. Besides, we also studied its the cation recognition properties. It was found that PDA had a good response to Zn2+.2. Synthesis and properties investigation of poly(methyl methacrylate) graft with anthracene fluorophore:Anthracene fluorophore grafted onto poly (methyl methacrylate) and the cation recognition experiment research was studied through the ultraviolet-visible and fluorescence spectrum. It was found that the grafted polymer had different response to different ions. 3. Synthesis and anion recognition properties investigation of Salicylidene Schiff base with anthracene fluorophore:We designed and synthesized a Salicylidene Schiff base with anthracene fluorophore anion recognition receptors, in which the phenolic hydroxyl group could bind with some certain anions. The naked eye detection of F" and fluorescence detection of AcO-all came true.
