The research of deviation control and fast drilling technology for drilling in Xushen GasField has more than twenty years, it is play an important role on vertical and straightdrilling.Well deflection is a prominent problem encountered in oil and gas well drilling,especially when drilling in deep high-dip formations. The traditional anti-deflection theory ofstatics requested "light pressure drilling " to prevent well deflection, as a result, impactingthe rate of penetration seriously, extending the drilling cycle, increasing the drilling cost.There is an urgent need to develop the fast anti-deflection drilling technology in DaqingXujiaweizi areaTo improve efficiency, smooth drill collars with high WOB technology is used for thedeep wells in Daqing Xujiaweizi area. This paper about smooth drill collars with high WOBfast anti-deflection drilling technology belong to the category of the dynamics theory, basedon drill whirling motion, requested big WOB in well deflection control, achieved to the goalof fast anti-deflection drilling, this method not only did not cause the well deflection increase,but played the well eye better than the traditional inclined method. This paper about smoothdrill collars with high WOB fast anti-deflection drilling technology belong to the category ofthe dynamics theory, based on drill whirling motion, requested big WOB in well deflectioncontrol, achieved to the goal of fast anti-deflection drilling, this method not only did notcause the well deflection increase, but played the well eye better than the traditional inclinedmethod. This paper through analyzes the smooth drill collars BHA, its kinematic model anddynamic model is builded, bit side force ’s Solution formula is worked out, principles andapplicability of smooth drill collars with high WOB technology is deduced.Practice has proved that using this technology, penetration rate can be increased morethan20%, bit life can be extended more than30%and well deviation can be corrected inDaqing Xujiaweizi deep drilling. It can draw a conclusion that this new method worthpopularized.
