With the increasingly fierce market competition and market demand segments, usingrapid design method to improve the response capacity in the face of personalized and diverseneeds is an effective way to manufacturing enterprises. The fast design is a design techniquefor mass product customization, and its method and ideas provides a theoretical basis for newproduct development and improve product design. Full analysis of customer demand,integrated design technologies and resources, develop an efficient and fast design platform isthe best way to implement rapid design for enterprise.So putting quick design ideas as a guide,this paper started a systematic research and development for the realization of children cartsrapid design platform driven by customer demand. The main work of the paper are asfollowing:1. Introduction the research status and the main method of rapid design. Analysis theresearch object of the rapid design and the design development status of the children cartdevelopment, and come out of the meaning and context of this research project.2. Building an overall design for the children carts rapid design platform driven bycustomer demand. A detailed analysis of customer demand-driven product design platformfeatures and the main functional model in rapid design platform. Then gives the overallframework of the implementation of rapid design process as well as children’s carts quicklydesign platform.3. Studying the children carts product family planning and demand-driven model.Builds a reasonable Children carts modular product family model based on the analysis of theproduct family modular technology. Focus on customer demand model, and described itsimplementation strategy in the rapid design platform.Finally,proposes the stroller productfamily planning system for customer needs.4. Analyzing the case retrieval method and assembly selection architecture based on therapid design. Analysis the product family case retrieval technology for stroller quicklycustomize to achieve a quick match between customer needs and product examples.Putsforward an assembly selection system based on rapid design after the rational discourse of assembly features in the rapid design,which to improve assembly efficiency and theimplemented of rapid design proposal, and finally verify the feasibility of the system.5. Completion of the development of children carts rapid design platform driven bycustomer demand. Analysis and implementation of key technologies to achieve children cartsdesign platform on the basis of the study based on the above theory and method, and applytwo methods of rapid design to complete the partial model of children carts.
