Rice is one of the major food crops in china, ranking first in the three major staple foodand it plays a decisive role in the national economy. Sheller is an important food processingmachinery for the rice husks. The basic working principle of Roller Husker is that the motordrives the fast roll and the slow roll running through the transmission system. The surface ofthe fast roll and the slow roll is flexible and there is a certain line speed difference betweenthe two rolls. After entering the work area,there is extrusion and friction by both the fast rolland the slow roll,so the groups achieve shelling. Roller husker has good structural propertiesand process performance, so it has been widely used at home and abroad.In sheller’s research, scholars at home and abroad and manufacturer of roller sheller hasconducted in-depth research, and there has made some achievements, but most of thesestudies only focus on the structure and process parameters in order to achieve highautomation, thus achieving its commercial value;the research on the transfer law and the loadcharacteristics is relatively small, the transmission has not yet been a complete referencedesign formula.This paper is based on previous studies, analysised and discussed the load characteristicsin detail and system through establishing the roller Sheller`s transmission model. Byexperimental design, verifys the the law of the drive in the actual production conditions,analysis and lists the specific formula of the load about roller husker`s system, Theexperimental data are also processed and analyzed the relationship between the productionparameters the equivalent coefficient of friction;and then analyzes the relationship betweenthe various production parameters and the load characteristics of the Roller Husker, andprovides a complete formula and basis for the drive system design.By analyzing theverification, this paper draws the following conclusions:1. The power transfer law of roller husker:When the Roller Husker is on loading,the fast roll and slow roll which are the rollerhusker’s main working parts are driven by a drive motor; motor‘s output power is consumedin the friction of the roller sheller system of the bearings and transmission.When loading, theslow roller is driven directly by fast roller through the grain and fast roll and slow roll drivesystem constitutes a deputy force closed-loop, motor output power consumed in doing shellerwork and the friction losses of the bearings and transmission.2. The influence of various parameters on the equivalent friction coefficient and the system load andmotor power:(1) The load of the fast roll and slow roll system and the motor are increased with theincreasing of the pressure between rolls,but the increase rate of the motor load is slower thanthe other two rollers.(2) The load of the fast roll and slow roll system and the motor are increased with theincreasing of the line speed,but the motor’s load increase slowly; the influence of the linespeed on the equivalent friction coefficient is small.(3)The load of the fast roll system and fast roll equivalent friction coefficients increasewith the line speed difference has been reduced, the load of the slow roll system and slow rollequivalent friction coefficients increase with the line speed difference increasing and the loadof the slow roll system is almost unchanged.(4) The influence of the flow on the motor and the system load and the equivalentcoefficient of friction are relatively small.
