With the development of globalization, a cross-platform standard protocol is urgently needed for data integration in manufacturing industry, in order to achieve the globalization of design, production, monitoring and management, and to increase production efficiency and reduce the cost. At same time, the high real-time, accuracy, informatization, intellectualization, standardization, and network monitoring technology have become a device monitoring system at this stage. It is necessary to strengthen the monitoring of machine tools and improve the management level of the machine tool for ensuring the security in the processing, keeping the machine tool in the best working conditions, reducing the processing product scrap and machine tool damage, improving processing efficiency and machine efficiency.This thesis aims to monitor the CNC machining tool path and machine status in real-time under the condition of integrated control system of factory digital equipment, and study the developing of the engraving machine system by our task group. It focuses on the extraction method for CNC machine tool data to monitor the processing of3D tool path and machine tool status. At last, the system was verified by actual processing.First, this thesis summarizes the research status of CNC machine tool monitoring techniques home and abroad, analyzes the malpractice and sum up certain problems to be solved in CNC machine tool monitoring system, analyzes the structure and working principle of MTConnect and indicates the advantages of MTConnect in machine tool monitoring system. Then this thesis summarizes the reasons of delay in data transmission, and tests the delay property of MTConnect by experiment. After that, a machine tool modeling architecture based on MTConnect was built by engraving machine tool structure and the controller features, accomplishes the transplantation of the agents in the controller, uses C#to compile client program of system. At last, this thesis implements these functions such as the near real-time display of3D tool path, machine tool feed speed and spindle speed of the monitoring, the other machine tool monitoring status through the network connecting the client and the controller.The experiment results show that the system’s merits are high real-time, accuracy, network, and cross-platform. It is effective and practical and can satisfy the CNC machine tool monitoring system needs better and.
