In this work,series of P2O5-CaO glass and low concentration of copper dispered glass were prepared by melting-quenching method in library.At the beginning of this work introduced the present research on nucleated-glass and its classification.Combined with the glass structure,the compositional effects on glass was studied.Firstly studied the network structure in the Phosphate Glass-ceramics,and the vibrating mode of bonds in the [PO4] tetrahedrons.Analyzed from FI-IR,the structure of the glass was discussed. Secondly,copper particles was prepared in the lab,and we tried a lot of methods to find a most convenient ways to find that using a plastic bottle was new and good way.Because of the hygroscopicity of P2O5controling the speed of weighing was necessary.In this work low concentration of Cu2O was dispered in the glass in order to prevent lots of Cu crystals were produced.After the experiment XRD analysis and FI-IR analysis were used in study the different composition of glass.In conclusion,not only the physical properties but also the chemical properties was strengthened with the rising concentration of Cu and the temperature of heat treatment.At last the optical nonlinearities was studied by Z-scanning equipment.
