1Land desertification is a global environmental problem. In order to realize the dynamic monitoring of land desertification, the study, base on HJ satellite data and other types of data, such as map of land use classification, field investigation data. Through the application of quantitative remote sensing technology, GIS technology and computer technology, the study, has realized the inversion of important ecological index, land use classification, land use change dynamic monitoring and comprehensive evaluation about the ability of windbreak and sand fixation of the research area. Finally, build the land desertification monitoring system that operated business. The research contents include the following aspects:(1) Select the normalized difference vegetation index, normalized difference index of water, vegetation coverage index, land surface temperature index, temperature vegetation index, land desertification evaluation index as the main evaluation factors of land desertification monitoring. On this basis, combining the quantitative remote sensing technology, derived and improved the inversion model and the inversion formula of the evaluation factors.(2) Base on the inversion model and inversion formula of evaluation index, inversion algorithm is designed. And take use of IDL interactive data processing development language, developed the source code of each index algorithm, according to the inversion results, further adjusted the accuracy of the algorithm and extracted woodland, grassland, sandy water, land, cultivated land of the study area, realized the land use classification, build the land use transfer matrix of the study area, at the same time, studies have identified the comprehensive evaluation model of windbreak and sand fixation ability of the study area.(3) According to the analysis of the needs of the land desertification monitoring operational system, system structure, function module, physical subsystem, internal and external interface, overall structure are studied, on the basis of this, the system daTab.ase and the interface were designed and completed the code of the client and server of the system, through integrate the inversion algorithm into the system and the overall test, finally achieve the business operating of land desertification monitoring system.
