Traditional aluminum electrolytic cell anode conductive device make up aluminum guide bar, aluminum-steel explosion welded piece and steel talon by welded.In the actual production process, the anode conductive device cracked due to poor working conditions.In addition, traditional conductive device have high energy consumption by impact of conductive area. According to the above problems, we propose that improve traditional conductive device, canceled explosion welded piece, connected aluminum guide bar and steel talon by friction weld.On this basis, design special friction welding machine, in the aluminum industry to promote.Friction welding Φ100mm steel and Φ100mm pure aluminum was investigated and the mechanical properties(including the room temperature tensile test, high temperature tensile test and impact test), microscopic analysis(including the microstructure,electron microprobe, scanning electron microscopy, hardness analysis and X-ray analysis)and welded joint of electrical resistance.The results showed that:on condition of the selected process parameters, the joint was good and mechanical properties than the aluminum base material.Combined surface of welding seam is uneven, the grain structure of near the weld zone occur reversion and deformation, interface elements interdiffusion, formed the transition layer.The simulated sample compared with lower the explosion welding in electrical resistance.According to the design requirements of the friction welding machine and combination of pre-welding test, work out the design parameters of aluminum guide bar and steel talon friction welding machine.Friction welding machine was divided three parts, host system, hydraulic system and control system.Firstly, some of the major parameters of host structure calculated, given the structure diagram of the mobile fixture and rotating fixture, and introduce the working principle of phase agency. And then in the hydraulic system, choosed electro-hydraulic proportional value and given the hydraulic system schematics.Used industrial control computer (IPC) and programmable controller (PLC) combining with control mode in control system, completed system closed-loop control process, introduced the process of the control system and PLC external wiring diagram.Finally, applying of DEFORM software simulated the welding process temperature field of aluminum guide bar and steel talon, production of the late.
