Adsorption can selectively enrich certain compounds, remove therefractory organic compounds and metals. Because of simple operation andeasy-use, it plays an important role in the wastewater treatment. However, adsorption technology is only transfer the pollutants without any degradation. The pollutant is still harm to environment. Therefore, how to regenerate theadsorbent from environmental pollutants at the same time is necessary.Traditional renewable technologies of the regeneration process may generatesecondary pollution to environment. Microwave regeneration is a fast, processtechnology of saving energy with high efficiency. Also the process andequipment by photocatalytic regeneration in situ is simple, and the productionscale is controllable. Therefore, the choice of regeneration method hasimportante economic value and environmental value.(1) This study screening out size of1mm zeolite particles, afterpretreatment, investigated adsorption effect of high-temperature calcined,HCl activated,NaOH activated zeolite. Experiments show that zeolitesactivated by calcinations and hydrochloric acid has a certain extent, improvethe capacity of the zeolite adsorption of methyl orange, after NaOH activated, reduced the adsorption capacity of methyl orange instead,so we chose HCl treatment as zeolite activated method.(2) After activated zeolite by HCl,TiO2/zeolite particles was prepared bysol-gel method, the TiO2/zeolite particles were characterized by XRD,SEM,IR,TEM. The analysis showed that TiO2load to the zeolite successfully.(3)Experiments using methyl orange as the inspection system, respectively exam the static adsorption and cyclic adsorption of HCl activatedzeolite and TiO2/zeolite particles. HCl activated zeolite is60min, TiO2/zeoliteis90min when static adsorption. Equilibrium time of circle adsorption islonger. The initial concentration of methyl orange and temperature increase,pH value decrease, the adsorption rate increase.(4) Packing the reactor by the zeolite particles (or TiO2/zeolite particles)and microwave spherical electrodeless lamp as a filler to build adsorptionrenewable integration device. Investigated the adsorption properties ofactivated zeolite and its microwave irradiation (MW) microwave dischargelamp irradiation (MWEL), microwave photocatalytic (MWELP), theregeneration time and times of regeneration rate. The optimal regenerationtime respectively is5min,5min and6min, regeneration rate is95.6%,96.9%and97.5%. Zeolite adsorption capacity remains more than85%after6timesregeneration. Microwave photocatalytic regeneration rate is more then87.3%.
