In the thesis, eucommia ulmoides leaf as raw material to produce eucommiaulmoides gum and chlorogenic acid. Eucommia ulmoides is a traditional Chinese herbalmedicine resources, but its application has been restricted on eucommia skin inlong-term. However, eucommia leaf processing is limited to tea and other low-Vicevalue industries. Eucommia leaf contains gutta percha is currently the best sources ofnatural rubber substitutes. Because the process is complicated and costly. So limiting thedevelopment of the market. However, eucommia ulmoides leaf containing chlorogenicacid which is an expensive. And it is excellent natural antioxidants. We get throughproduce high vice-value chlorogenic acid while sharing the cost of production of guttapercha. Provide a new process routes for the use of Eucommia leaves.Extracting Gutta percha from Eucommia ulmoides leaf which is conducting forextract chlorogenic acid. Eucommia leaf hinder substances as cellulose and lignin.Papermaking of high-temperature cooking method is selected as a method ofdeconstruction. Experiments show that the optimum extraction conditions are10%alkali solution at150℃for3hours. In the process of extraction, observe and studysolubility of eucommia ulmoides gum in different solvents at90℃.Experimental resultsshow that ethanol and petroleum ether solvent have good effect for removing thechlorophyll and other alcohol-soluble impurities in whole process of extraction. Andthen take frozen method to separate eucommia ulmoides gum from organic solvent at-20℃for2hours.Eucommia ulmoides gum is refined by acetone carry on performanceindex test by the national standards. Test results is that hardness is78HS, tensilestrength is28.4MPa, the breakage extensibility is450%, the tearing strength is9.6KN·m-1 density is0.98g·cm-3 the mooney viscosity is27.92Pa·s.In the thesis, take macroporous adsorptive resins to refine chlorogenic acid. In thepurification process, through the screening of resin determine the resin models for theNKA-9macroporous adsorption resin. In the adsorption process determine theconditions of resin adsorption. The concentration and velocity of column liquid is8mg/mL and3BV/h respectively at pH3.5. At this time, the resin mostly have adsorbedsaturated. The adsorbance and adsorption rate is up to60.69mg/g and83.92%. After theadsorbance of NKA-9macroporous adsorption resin is saturated, select ethanol as theideal elution solvent. In the elution process30%ethanol solution as optimal elutingsolvent concentration. The optimal elution rate is2BV/h. Take2.5times the resinvolume of30%ethanol solution to have the best effect for elution process, and thedesorption rate reach89.04%. Take high performance liquid chromatography tomeasure chlorogenic acid content accurately. According to the high performance liquidchromatogram measure the content of chlorogenic acid. The products of chlorogenicacid purity reach60.92%.
