CNC cutting machine with high efficiency, good quality, low cost, is welcomed by many domestic mechanical processing and the surrounding industries. However, The main advantage of domestic CNC cutting machine is also reflected in the price, there is still a certain gap in the core technology comparing with the international famous brand at the present stage.In order to improve the competitiveness of domestic CNC cutting machine and take more market share in the high-end market. The topic develops a set of CNC cutting machine with good stability and high reliability under the guiding of the open-architecture CNC theory, it has automatic programming function and NURBS curve interpolation.Firstly, build system hardware platform. The topic designs the hardware architecture based on PC104bus boards and prepare anti-interference filter chip program, including the selection board, digital signal interface board and a scheduled break module design, decoding circuits and interface extended card design. The topic uses the Windows operating system and compiles user applications by C++Builder.Secondly, Automatic programming function. It includes the analysis and processing of drawing Exchange file, alignment of entity data, setting of the tool parameters and process parameters, realization of cutter radius compensation function, automatic NC code generation and validation, simulation of tool path.Finally, NURBS curve interpolation. For some areas of high-precision cutting, the topic based on Cox-de Boor recursion method implements the interpolation of arbitrary curves and avoids the iterative Solver of spline basis functions. It enables adaptive speed control for the interpolation process and implements a NURBS curve interpolation tool radius compensation function with affine invariance. Finally, this project simulates the algorithm for Cutter radius compensation and verifies the feasibility of algorithms.
