The traditional lithology identification is limited to single rock lithology, and nearlydon’t do continuous identification to the profiles. So this paper does the research ofcontinuous profile identification on the Tongluomiao Groups of Hailaer Basin Southern inWuerxun Sag. First of all, according to logging data and lithologic material, the lithology aredivided into volcanics, volcanic sedimentary transition rocks and normal sedimentary rock.We divide volcanic rocks into volcanic lava and volcanic elastic rocks, and divide volcanicsedimentary transition rocks into sedimentary pyroclastic rocks and pyroclastic sedimentaryrocks. We generalize the log response characteristics according to the lithology and give thelog response average and main response range of all kinds of main lithology, and use this asthe judgment standard. Because the formation property of mudstone and tuffaceous mudstoneof coarse particle sedimentary environment is different from mudstone of the normalsedimentary environment (especially the resistivity response), so it is singled out to identify.We do resistivity, acoustic transmit time, neutron and density depth correction to themudstone and tuffaceous mudstone which are impacted by the compaction function easily,and make the lithology identification precision greatly improved.According to the transitional rule from different rock formations, we sum up thesedimentary continuous mode,the volcaniclastic sedimentary of continuous mode,thecontinuous mode of sedimentary rockâ†'volcanic pyroclastic sedimentary rocks, thecontinuous mode of pyroclastic sedimentary rockâ†'Sedimentary pyroclastic rocksâ†'volcanicpyroclastic rock,the continuous mode of volcanic pyroclastic rockâ†'Volcanic lava and theshallow metasandstone continuous mode of six kinds of profile of the continuous recognitionmode. These modes provide the method that can identify the continuous lithology in thenormal profiles. We make the information of particle size and sedimentary changes from thelogging data as the constraint condition of lithology identification. During this we reduce themultiple solutions of the course of lithology identification, so we make the lithology profileswhich have been identified more conform to the characteristics of sedimentary law. Theidentification coincidence rate of the volcanic rock and non-volcanic rock is more than90%in Tongluomiao Groups; the main lithology such as Sandstone, mudstone, conglomerate, tuff,igneous rocks and their transitional lithology’s comprehensive judgment coincidence rate ismore than80%.
