In order to improve the decoration of aluminum alloy products, anode oxidation filmshould be colored before sealing the hole. Common electrolytic coloring methods could makethe products receive either few colors, or bad weathering resistance, and may easily causealuminum alloy products age pulverize, then affect the service life and safety of the product.Therefore, how to obtain good decoration and weathering resistance of aluminum alloyproducts has become one of urgent technologies.Aiming at the general problems from traditional aluminum coloring methods, we havedone a lot of research to obtain aluminum alloy products with good decoration and weatheringresistance. Based on a series of experiments, we adopted orthogonal experiment method tofind the best multi-coloring formula based on nickel-stannum, and also discussed the keysteps of the power parameters, we found the influence law of important power parameters tothe final color. And then we summarized a set of coloring technique with stability, uniformity,gorgeous colors, high weather resistance and good reproducibility. Finally, our test reportsshowed that the decoration and weathering resistance of the aluminum alloy samples usingthe technique has met the industry standards, and proved that the technique has high stabilityand practicability, and also has laid a good foundation for the next industrialization.Based on the stable technique mentioned above, coloring mechanism and theoptimization of process equipment were summarized. Firstly, in microscopic analysis, wehave deeply studied the inner link among oxidation film structure, composition andcharacteristic colors, mainly through the SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), EDX (EnergyDispersive X-ray Detector), XRD (X Ray Diffraction) and TEM (Transmission ElectronMicroscopy) technology; Then, in the research of current waveform of key steps, we mainlyused an oscilloscope to observe the differences of the current waveform to different colors,thus summed up the general rule of coloring; Finally, in view of the results from themicroscopic analysis and currents waveform analysis and technique optimization, we putforward a new coloring model based on the principle of light interference.Further more, in the optimization of process equipments, according to a lot of testingdata and phenomenon of experiments, we have made the material and the layout of Yin and Yang plate improved, and summarized the requirements of multi-coloring process to thepower supply, and then initially proposed a design scheme on the power supply system whichcould form all sorts of colors automatically.
