In this paper, phenolic epoxy vinyl ester resin and carbon fiber as raw material, the use of compression molding method, using temperature curing system to prepare the carbon fiber laminates. Laminates and analysis of the performance test. First, the phenolic epoxy vinyl ester resin and curing agent, respectively, cumene hydroperoxide (CHP), tert-butyl peroxide (TBPB), dicumyl peroxide (DCP) mass ratio of100:0.9~100:1.5be miscible. At different temperatures glue gel time was determined, and the mechanical properties of castings tensile experimental was tested. Setting a range of temperatures, for each range glue temperature of each measure their gel time, according to the standard of measuring the properties of cured. Determine how each kind of resin glue liquid curing agent in the whole content, finally got the three technology of curing process of the ideal one, preparing their cured and carbon fiber laminates. And their cured and carbon fiber laminate under tensile and bending test, but also tested the best carbon fiber laminates heat resistance. The study of carbon fiber/phenolic epoxy vinyl ester resin composite material has excellent mechanical performance and thermal stability, in the military, aerospace, civil and other fields have a wide range of applications.the effect of curing agents of cumene hydroperoxide (CHP)、dicumyl peroxide(DCP) and tert-butyl peroxybenzoate (TBPB) on the epoxy vinyl ester resin are investigated. The resin glue is prepared by the different concentration of curing agent, the hot-plate method is used to determine the gel time in different temperature. The casting resin is made and the tensile tests determined the concentration of curing agent in different resin glue system., of which the mass percentage of CHP system is1.0%, so the TBPB system is1.2%, and the DCP system is1.5%.The reaction exothermic characteristics of different curing system of resin are researched by means of differential scanning(DSC), and the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) is used to observe the surface morphology of section of casting. The DSC and SEM method combined with the gel time determined the optium curing technology, which of the TBPB system was cured2.1hours at122℃, then cured50minute at144℃, the CHP system was cured2.2hours at108℃,then cured1.2hours at148℃, similarly the DCP system was cured1.9hours at105℃, then cured55minutes at142℃. With the curing technology, the casting resin and carbon fiber composites are prepared. The mechanical property test and thennogravimetric analysis showed that the composite has good mechanical properties and thermal stability.
