With the development of the modern control technology the automatic machining of complex surface realize basically, but polishing is still can not finished by machine tools. But these processes of precision machining are still rely on the manual workers. The quality of manual workers’handwork is unstable. Therefore, to develop high precision and fast responses speed mechanical processing equipments is not only the demand of this industry but also have deep significance in our manufacturing industry.The structure of the polishing machine tool is Series-Parallel Hybrid and five-axis. The changing-wheel system could blade parts with different curvature. To research the control system software based on the mechanical structure of the Series-Parallel Hybrid polishing machine tool. Hybrid polishing machine tool build a double CPU hybrid polishing machine tool control system which is open architecture uses multi-axis motion controller Turbo PMAC2and PC. Under the Windows XP platform using the multi-threading technology of Windows operating system as the core technology, through Visual C++6.0software developed a good man-machine interface. This paper analyzes the traditional interpolation methods and their characteristics.This paper analyzes the traditional interpolation methods and their characteristics. In addition, analyze the theory, the nature, characteristics and associated algorithms of NURBS(Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines) curve. According the practical application and characteristics of hybrid polishing machine tool put forward an interpolation method based on NURBS. Proposed NURBS real-time interpolation algorithm based on the relevant theory of NURBS algorithm applied in the polishing processing. In addition, combined with the nature of NURBS curves and S-type acceleration and deceleration algorithm proposed a acceleration and deceleration control algorithm which matches the machine tools did polishing processing experiments of the polishing machine tool, results showed that the surface roughness values of parts is0.786μm after experiment. Experiments confirmed the Series-Parallel Hybrid polishing machine tool can polishing large complex surface and can achieve good machining results.
