On the basis of actual background of the project, in view of the existing problem during grinding the casting power netsuke burrs, parallel barinder is designed to finish power netsuke burr grinding task. The main object of this paper is the parallel barinder's CNC system, according to the development and research direction in parallel robot, after the analysis of the present world popular numerical control system, the open CNC system is adopted. The "IPC +PMAC " open architecture is choosen, the PC software resources and PMAC powerful motion control can be full used in the system.Firstly, the architecture of open CNC system's development direction is analyzed, integrated the characteristics of system structure and research status quo, several kinds of the open CNC system structure are analyzed, the open CNC system structure for parallel machine are chosen. "IPC + PMAC " open architecture is adopted as the structure type of parallel barinder. According to the control of barinder precision requirements, the overall scheme of control system is determined, half closed loop control system is chosen.Secondly, the system's hardware structure and the software platform are introduced. With the PMAC as the hardware core, the barinder CNC system's hardware structure is constructed, a complete system structure is formed with the hardware modules, so that the software development is developed on the basis of the function. The software platform that developing the CNC system are introduced, the communication between PMAC and PC is realized, the initial parameter is set under the environment of PEwin.Finally, the interpolation algorithm is clearly studied, the appropriate interpolation algorithm is designed. According to the requirements of the barinder and a half closed loop servo system, the method of quadratic interpolation is used, the designed interpolation error is analyzed.
