Coke powder production accounted for3%to5%of the coke production. Coke powderparticle size is too small to be used in the blast furnace, and its selling price is only about60%ofmetallurgical coke. Some coking enterprise’s coke powder is piled up at random, which isharmful for environment and people’s health. This study is based coke powder as a blendingcomponent for stamping coking experiment. The suitable particle size of powder, ratio of powderreflux and the suitable bonding capacity of basis coal blending were studied respectively, in orderto instruct stamping coking production for coking enterprises.Based on the production cola blending of Henan Zhonghong Coal Chemical Co.,Ltd,adding coke powder into basic coal blending respectively, the particle size of coke powderincluded <1.7mm <0.83mm <0.38mm,<0.2mm,<0.1mm,<0.08mm <0.06mm and <0.05mm.And the amount of coke powder was2%. This experiment carried out stamping coking on40kgsimulated coke oven. The quality of coke added2%coke powder was studied systematically, andthe study contents included: the ash content of coke, sulfur content, false relative density, truthdensity, total porosity, apparent porosity, cold strength, and thermal state properties. The resultsshowed that: Coke powder particle size bigger than0.2mm deteriorated cold strength and thermalproperties apparently; On the condition that the coal blending has surplus bonding capacity,refluxing smaller than0.2mm coke powder will not significantly degrade the quality of coke.Integrated coke cold strength, thermal properties and the milling energy consumption in threeareas to consider, the appropriate particle size of coke powder is less than0.2mm.Setting the production cola blending of Henan Zhong-hong Coal Chemical Co.,Ltd as basiscoal blending1, and reducing5%of fat coal consumption on coal blending1set as coal blending2. Based on the condition that coal blending1and coal blending2, adding1%~5%cokepowder respectively, and the particle size of coke powder is less than0.2mm. The influence ofthe ration of coke powder refluxed on coke quality was studied on different basic coal blending,and the suitable bonding ability for coke powder refluxing. The results showed that: Theappropriate amount of coke powder reflux depends on the bonding ability of coal blending, whenthe coal blending has surplus bonding capacity, appropriate amount of coke powder can berefluxed, and it will not affect the quality of coke; If the coal blending doesn’t have surplusbonding capacity, adding coke powder will only degrade the quality of coke, and it is notappropriate to reflux powder. Based on the company’s existing coking coal, the appropriate basiscoal caking index for coke powder reflux is greater than64, and the largest glial layer thicknessis greater than13.7mm. Coke powder refluxing process had been preliminarily designed. Adopting directlysmashing process on coke powder, this process can normally smash coke powder undercondition that coke humidity is8%to15%. And the material is uniform, the particle sizeadjustable, and will not plug the machine.Refluxing the appropriate amount of coke powder can make significantly economic benefits.Based on the current coal blending, refluxing2%less than0.2mm of coke powder can increasethe economic efficiency of28.167million yuan every year.
