Mine security evaluated methods include safety checklist combined with fuzzycomprehensive evaluation, analytic hierarchy process and so on. These methods in the evaluationprocess need to be reasonable to determine the index weight. Index weight of the assignmentprocess is subjective. How to seek a better evaluated method and make the evaluated resultsmore objective is our aim.Our works are included as follows: we introduce the security evaluation theory and analyzemine hoist transport system and typical accidents. The security evaluated index system is builtfor the mine hoist transport system, every factor is analyzed. The model of security evaluationwhich is based on catastrophe theory and fuzzy mathematics is built. Then we analyze the minehoist transport system by use of the model. The safety grade of the system is security, which iscoincident with the fact. We also evaluate the security of mine hoist transport system by useingBP artificial neural network and built (43-14-4) network model. The network is trained toachieve ordered accuracy. We evaluate the forward object by using of trained network. The sameresults are obtained.Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on catastrophe theory and BP neural networkmodel safety evaluation, the evaluation method has certain advantages, examples demonstratethe applicability and correctness of the evaluation model, metal mine safety evaluation theoryand the practice has a certain reference value.
