Coal mine water damage is the major natural disasters often encountered in coal main production, and mine water inrush has been the outstanding problems plaguing coal production. With the economy's demand for energy growing, water pressure mining has broad prospects. Prediction and evaluation of coal seam floor has been an important content to control water inrush. According to analysis coal seam water inrush mechanism and related factors, combined with catastrophe theory, establish the catastrophic model of water. Study and develop prediction and evaluation system of water inrush from coal floor based on catastrophe theory. The system can predict and evaluate coal seam risk objectively, and then accurate the level of the water disasters mining area, providing the technical basis for the design and production. The system was simple, accurate, and is a more efficient prediction method for floor water inrush.Prediction and evaluation system of water inrush from coal floor Based on catastrophe theory has four components:(1) program into module is to introduce the name of the evaluation system, version, and research and development unit and time, the part of the design process is simple; (2) Parameter input module, the component is to remind the user of entering the actual values of 14 parameters according to the prompting on the interface. (3) analysis and evaluation module, this part is important. Its function is predicting and evaluating the risk of water inrush from coal mine floor through calculation. (4) The resulting output module, it exports the total membership function and the evaluation results of water inrush from coal floor. The whole system is using VB programming language, which creates an intuitive interface bringing great convenience to the user. The forecast system is science, accurate, intuitive, and it is a more promising evaluation method.
