Study On Theory And Process Of Floatation Of Hemimorphite

In this study, the basic flotation of hemimorphite in the presence of cationic collector such as dodecylamine (DDA),anionic collector such as isoamyl xanthate (KAX) and the mixed collector (DDA/KAX) was investigated by tests of single mineral and actual ore. Physicochemical studies on hemimorphite sample including microflotation tests and adsorption studies using diffuse reflectance FTIR, UV spectrum and fluorescence probe test. The different effect was discussed which caused by the mixed collector,molecular dynamics simulation was taken to prove the mechanism. The present thesis consists of the follow parts:The pure mineral and mixed-minerals tests showed:the highest flotation recoveries were found1:3of concentration ratios(DDA:KAX), sodium sulfide was used as flotation regulator and activator, the optimum pH is ahout10.Results of FTIR,UV and fluorescence measurements showed that: The physical adsorption of dodecylamine on the surface of hemimorphite happened in the form of dodecylamine cationic,and its adsorption isotherm was typically S-types, which can be described by BET formula. Isoamylxanthate can adsorb on the hemimorphite,and its adsorption isotherm was L-types, which can be described by langmuir formula. The mixture of dodecylamine and isoamylxanthate can decrease the micro-polarity of the reagents sharply in the condition of low concentration, that can decrease the CMC value.Molecular dynamics simulation showed that, the adsorption force of dodecylamine cationic on the surface of hemimorphite was stronger than that of dodecylamine,and dodecylamine cationic adsorbed perpen-dicularly on the (110) plane of hemimorphite.Results of actual ore tests show that, for the oxidized lead-zinc ore that is difficult to process in Yun Nan with a Zn grade of12.45%,oxidized concentrate with Zn grade of31.82%can be obtained without desliming and the Zn recovery of70.78%can be obtained.
