With the rapid industrialization and the intensification of the global problem of environmental pollution, how to control and manage the environmental pollution effectively is a major issue of human society. Nano photocatalytic degradation using solar energy is considered to be the most potential technology. Photocatalytic technology in the field of environmental governance has enormous economic, environmental and social benefits. TiO2is widely recognized as the best photocatalyst in most n-type semiconductor. Photocatalyst is a technology with high performance, low loss, and no environmental pollution and so on. On the basis of advances in modification of nano-TiO2photocatalyst, the following aspects of the study were made.In order to improve the photocatalytic activity, continuous ionic layer deposition method was used to prepare CdS/TiO2and PbS/TiO2photocatalysts. Through the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange, the optimum doping concentration of CdS and PbS was determined. The results showed that doping product a more complex band structure. Low-energy photo-electron-hole pairs were generated and more photo-electron transition channels were provided. It not only improved the separation efficiency of photo generated electron-hole pairs but increased the carrier lifetime. Therefore, the photocatalytic efficiency of TiO2nanotubes was improved. In addition, by using photochemical deposition, Ag and Pt nano particles were deposited on the surface of TiO2respectively in order to increasing the efficiency of photocatalytic ability. The crystal structure and morphology were characterized by XRD, SEM, XPS and Roman spectrum. Degradation of methyl orange by the sample was used to characterize the photocatalytic activity. It was found that different metal ion-deposited samples showed a higher photocatalytic activity.
