With the high speed development of science and technology, the machining accuracy of small diameter deep-holes request more and more higher, it’s machining difficulty also are more and more higher, the machining problem of small diameter deep-holes has become a difficult problem in machinery manufacturing industry.The ultrasonic longitudinal vibration drilling is a new type of machining method for small-diameter deep-holes, which is combined the rotary cutting movement of drill with ultrasonic longitudinal vibration drilling. This new method changes the cutting mechanism in the course of drill-entry and the conventional continuous cutting process is transformed into a pulsed discontinuous cutting process by using vibration drilling. The ultrasonic longitudinal vibration drilling has more excellent technology effect than common methods in small-diameter deep-holes precision machining areas, can remarkably improve machining quality and efficiency. The article based on high frequency vibration cutting theories, and our school’s experiment equipment at present, use ultrasonic vibration drilling device drilling difficult-to-machine materials, analyz the results and data, and we compare the ultrasonic longitudinal vibration drilling and common drilling.so we can study and analysis the process mechanism of ultrasonic longitudinal vibration drilling.
