In order to effectively take advantage of the abundant rosin resources owned by china and solve the technical problems faced by the papermaking enterprises about low sizing efficiency and high cost of rosin.The effect of aluminum sulfate, cationic inorganic substance (YWY), cationic styrene-acrylic latex (YBB), the blending of aluminium sulfate and YWY, aluminium/YWY/YBB on promoting the sizing performances of cationic rosin emulsion(YSR) in the neutral papermaking condition has been investigated at the first in this study, and get the best formula and proportions of sizing synergistic agent (WBH). And then test the performance of the mixture emulsion of the above sizing synergistic agent and YSR,such as the mixture viscosity, contact Angle, particle size distribution, zeta potential value and ultraviolet absorption spectrum, infrared spectrum and so on, analyze the interaction between the sizing synergistic agent and YSR.Then test the turbidity and anionic degrees of the pulp filtrate and the retention of paper pulp and sizing agent after appling the mixture emulsion of YSR and above compounds to papermaking progress, and analyzes the relationship between the Intermolecular interaction of the blend and papermaking wet-end parameters. Finally selected cashew oil, paraffin wax, YMS as rosin alternative supplements to make the emulsion, get the most significant effect supplements of YSR through the comparison of the sizing effect and optimization emulsification conditions.
