Molecular self-assembly is an important part of supramolecularchemistry, mainly refer to fabricate orderly structure by intramolecular orintermolecular weak interaction of building blocks. These weakinteractions include hydrophilic-hydrophobic interactions, hydrogenbonds, the host-guest inclusions, electrostatic interactions and π-πstacking. The building blocks contain biomacromolecules,organic/inorganic molecules, macromolecules and so on. Recently years,hydrogen bonding is widely used in the field of molecular self-assembly,in addition, prepared superstructure by bulding bocks also attract mostattentions.Our group gain the nanopaticles by the way of non-covalentcross-linking and the nanopaticles can be use as bulding blocks tofabricate superstructure.This thesis is mainly divided into three sections.Section1: Facile preparation of polymeric dimers from amphiphilicpatchy particles.we obtained mixed shell micelles from using1,3-propanediamine or1,4-butanediamine cross-link block copolymer P2VN-b-PAA andPEO-b-PAA in common solvent DMF, subsequently transferred to aselective solvent H2O for PEO, then dialyzed against water for24hours.Due to the micro-phase separation of inter-nanopaticles, the asymmetricparticles formed, and the asymmetric particles can further self-assembleinto the dimers in water because of hydrophobic interactions.Section2: Facile preparation of double helix from undulatedmulticompartment cylindersThe mixed shell micelles were formed in common solvent DMF byaddition1,6-diaminohexane to mixed solution of block copolymerP2VN-b-PAA and PEO-b-PAA. And then change common sovlent intoselective one for PEO, after dialyzed against water for24hours, becausecurvature of a surface of MSMs become smaller, cylindrical micelles formed during MSMs dialysis due to the micro-phase separation ofinter-nanopaticles and hydrophobic interactions. After a long period ofsample ageing, cylindrical micelles finally turned into double helix asresults of interaction of thermodynamics and kinetics.Section3: Preparation of symmetrical micelles by diamine withdifferent carbon chain length of alkyl.In solvent DMF, we synthesize symmetrical micelles form using1,3-propanediamine,1,4-butanediamine,1,5-Pentanediamine,1,6-diaminohexane,1,12-diaminododecane as cross-linking agentrespectively. Study difference of Morphology and size of symmetricalmicelles cross-linked by different diamine.
