In this paper, the application of curing accelerator to improve the curing processin the organic abrasives binder is studied. And the anti-aging agent, antioxidant wereused to improve its damp heat aging and light oxyger aging in the organic abrasives, itis mainly including two aspects of the study, using P-toluenesulfonyl chloride mela-mine ascuring to improve the curing process and using anti-agent,antioxidant, DNP,KY-405,DLTPto improvr its damp heat aging resistance and using UV-327,UV-531as UV absorbent to improve its oxygen light stability. In this study, p-toluenesulfonyl chloride, melamine, polyvinyl butyral andphenolic resin were mixed together, to improve the curing process, to reduce thecuring temperature and to shorten the curing time to cure accelerator. Usingdifferential scanning calorimetry (DSC), we studied how curing promoting agent oncuring reaction of the phenolic resin system and its dynamics affect a differentpercentage content of curing curing agent/phenolic resin reaction systemperformance. By using Kissinger method and Ozawa method to calculate the apparentactivation energy and reaction of the curing reaction series, we found that when thecuring accelerator was used, the energy of curing reaction of the PF system can bereduced. Our experimental results showed that with more curing accelerant added, thecuring reaction temperature would decrease and the curing time would be shortened. We also mixed chemical additives anti-aging agent, antioxidant, UV absorberand resin, together with aging agents, antioxidants and other additives to improve theability to postpone aging in the aging process. By comparing the weight loss rate withand without the adding of aging agent, we found that over time of aging, the agingweight loss rate decreased. By adding a UV absorber, light stabilizer additives toimprove the ability to shield ultraviolet and to extend the life time, we found thatmechanic performance did not decrease, but increased a little bit instead.
