As the computer technology and NC manufacture technology continues to move forward, the NCmachining simulation technology developed well, and became an important part of the NC technology.NC machining simulation not only simulate the processing procedure of the parts to check the numericalcontrol program, but also to indicate the problems which might happen in the actual processingprocedures like over-cut, interference and so on. The NC simulation technology can shorten the productdevelopment cycle greatly, reduce the processing cost, and improve the processing quality andproduction efficiency. It is also a useful tool for the students at the classes, and even a new tool fordevelopment of new machines. The level of NC simulation technology has become an import symbolfor the level of national NC technology.In this paper, the geometric model is built to simulate the processing procedure in detail, andprovide the solutions to the problems which might happen in the actual production. The preliminaryresearch of dynamic simulation was conducted to help to provide more theory to choose cuttingparameters. The researches in the paper are listed as following:(1) Compared various modeling methods, build the geometric model, and simulate the wholeprocessing procedure. Solved the problems in time, and output the NC program.(2) The simulation results were optimized by optimizing various important parameters in thecutting process to shorten the processing time, and reduce the production cost and improve theprocessing efficiency.(3) Built the simulation formula to calculate the cutting parameter, optimized the NC cuttingparameter, and converted the cutting parameter from the experience to the calculation. It shortens thetime to choose the parameter, improve the utilization rate of materials, spindle power, spindle speed andmaterial removal rate.(4) Optimized cutting parameters further during the actual production, compile the cutting data toa data sheet, to indicate the actual production.
