Along with development of computer and Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Virtual Manufacturing Technology has been developed. As the critical technology of virtual manufacturing, simulation of virtual manufacturing process has become a major research direction of this field. In the virtual manufacturing simulation system, how to implement physical simulation on the basis of geometric simulation is the key research of making the simulation of manufacturing resemble the real manufacturing as closely as possible. When giving the model of semifinished materials body, the triangle surface piece separate method is used. We has realized the geometry intersention algorithm of separated vector and the cutting tool scanning body when entity machining is running on the 3 axis numerical control milling machine and has simulated the cutting process of the cutting tool through the unceasing renewal of semifinished materials data message, produce tool track and cutter path.by using programming environment of Visual C++6.0 and graphic development tool of OpenGL, dynamicly simulates the cutting process of the cutting tool and the cutting track.Finally,this software is evaluated in reliability throughtout a simulation example of toroidal processing.
