With the rapid development of the global economy and environmental pollution control log, thedegree of water eutrophication increases, occurrence of red tide frequency, duration and impactareas are increasing. The red tide and serious economic losses caused by red tide are concernedincreasingly by global public and because of the reported incidents of red tide poisoning arecommon. There are a few summary for the law of red tide occurred in China’s coastal water andthere is not a effective way to control red tide. The paper summarizes the law of red tide occurred in China’s coastal water, The time of theoccurrence of red tide in China’s coastal waters each year from May to October. The location ofthe occurrence of red tide is in the main river estuary. Red tides of Bohai and Zhejiang provinceare the most serious. The advantage alga of Chinese red tide are Noctiluca scintillans,Skeletonema costatum, Prorocentrum donghaiense, Karenia mikimotoi, etc. Various aspects haveamplified the trend. The red tide prevention and treatment task is more urgent. In the prevention process mustadhere to prevention-based, treatment-supplemented, the combination of prevention and treatment.According to the occurrence of red tide conditions: the existence of red tide organisms andappropriate environment for the growth of red tide organisms as much as possible to reduce thesurplus waters of the input of nutrients, prevent the introduction of red tide organisms andenhance the awareness of the universal anti-red tide. There are many ways of red tide governance, these control methods can be divided into three categories: physical, chemical and biologicalmethods. Physical methods mainly contain Recovery Act, the ultrasonic treatment method, optical isolation method, etc. These methods are theoretically effective and feasible. When there isa large area of the red tide, many human, material and financial resources need to be invested, sothe possibility of practical is small; chemical methods include direct killing, the flocculantprecipitation, and natural mineral flocculation, these methods are effective, targeted, and thedevelopment of them is fastest, but they need to consume a large number of pharmaceutical andsecondary pollution objects, continuous time is short; biological methods use between the biological nutritional substances in the competition and food intake as well as role of allelopathyto treat red tide, include microbiological method, planktonic animal law, use the nutritioncompetition between plants and alga to control red tide, biological allelopathic rolemethod.Biological methods overcome the lack of many physical and chemical methods, are the focus ofstudy of allelopathy scientists research focus, has been gradually formed a new research field. The allelopathy use allelochemical produced by the biological to inhibit the red tide algae. Itcan take advantage of the in vivo cultivation of aquatic plants, dry plant adding into the water andputting the extraction of allelochemicals into the water to effect algae. In orde to reduce the harm of poisonings caused by red tide, the paper use C.yrnnodiniumas an example to explore how red tide algae inhibitor effect production of brevetoxins. First, usinghigh performance liquid chromatography-UV method(the mobile phase is85%methanol and thewavelength is215nm)is determined. The next determine C.yrnnodinium of laboratory canproduce brevetoxin B. Its content is0.464μg/108cells. The algae inhibitors (dibutylphthalate,Rotenone, Dicoumarol, Diuron and pharmacy) has identified have good results to control red tidealgae, which are determined that they can reduce the content of brevetoxin B. When theconcentration of inhibitors are5μmol/L,the contents are0.181、0.354、0.382、0.389μg/10~8cells.
