With the increasingly fierce market competition in modern society, the higher demand forthe flexibility of mechanical structure and efficiency is put forward,especially in the process oftenuous hole.When boring operations are used to machining this kind of holes,because of thespecificity of its processing sectors, resulting in the stiffness fails to meet the requirements ofthe boring bar.Usually when the length-diameter ratio of the boring bar is more than four times,the vibration in the processing of the boring bar will produce for the lack of stiffness, the ma-chining quality will be affected. So how to solve the problem is becoming a very realisticsubject.To the research of vibration in boring, an accurate system dynamical equation can not beeasily built with the traditional method.The finite element analysis method is used in this topicwith the mainstream large-scale general-purpose finite element analysis software ANSYS. It ismainly to make dynamic simulation of the vibration absorption boring-bar and study the dy-namic properties; then make a parametric analysis to the related factors which influence thevibration and the best of vibration reduction is obtained.Finally, the influence of cutting pa-rameters to the damping performance is analysised.In this research, foreign advanced vibration absorption technology of boring bar is used,and the built-in dynamic vibration absorption boring-bar with cooling pipe is de-signed.Analyzing the dynamic model of the vibration absorption boring-bar, this paper firstlyobtains the initial value of the vibration reduction system parameters based on mechanicalvibration theory;and then makes the dynamic simulation analysis (modal analysis and har-monic response analysis) by software ANSYS and gains the dynamic characteristic parameters.Meanwhile,this paper makes parametric analysis of the factors which are the most important tothe vibration isolation.And it makes the optimization simulation analysis of the vibration ab-sorption boring-bar with the radial vibrational value of knife point as the objective function,and the optimized parameters are obtained. Finally,it makes parametric analysis of the vibra-tion absorption boring-bar with the optimized parameters under the different cutting parametersconditions, and the change regulations of the quantity of radial vibration of knife point withchanges of the cutting parameter are obtained,and analyzes the same length-diameter ratio ofthe optimization boring-bar and the solid boring-bar. By analyzing the three different bor-ing-bars, the vibration absorption effect of the optimized vibration absorption boring-bar is thebest, the optimized parameters method can provide a reference for the vibration absorptionboring-bar in practical application. The analysis and the results of paper provide a reference for the design of the boring-barwith built-in dynamic vibration absorption, and this may be an important guidance for the re-search.It can improve the product performance, shorten the time of research and also reducethe cost of the development of the product, the waste of material.
