In this paper the planar optical component polishing principle has done the system research, summed up the domestic and foreign development situation. On the computer controlled optical surface forming technology is analyzed and studied, according to the Preston equation, established the disc polishing removal function model, via examining specific processing results and computer simulation results are basically consistent, confirmed the correctness of the mathematical model of removal function. On the processing of the optical part edge effect to do the analysis, study and understand the edge effect of the method of decision. On polishing parameters to do the analysis, obtains the reasonable polishing parameters. The NC Polishing CAM software flow chart and module design. Computer control of CNC machine tools for polishing the optical surfaces, according to the computer simulation of the polishing path after polishing, the polishing efficiency compared with the past polishing efficiency has been greatly improved.The purpose of the research is the advanced optical processors processing technology, quantitative, computer numerical control polishing machine and modern means of detection, to replace the manual skills. The significance of the research is processed after the large aperture optical element, the surface shape accuracy compared with the past has greatly improved.
