| In this paper, Cortex Magnolia Officinal was used as raw material, the effectivecomponents of antimicrobial activities from cortex magnoliae officinalis was extracted by themethods of microwave and ultrasound, respectively. And the best purification processparameters was determined by single factor experiments and response surface analysis;Antioxodant activity of the Cortex Magnolia Officinal extracts and the correlation betweenthe content of active compositions and antimicrobial activity were researched; Theantimicrobial effects of compound additives which included common food additives and theextract were investigated, In the last part, the application in food processing were studied.The optimal extraction parameters of the ultrasound extraction technology was asfollows:70%ethanol as solvent,46min of ultrasound time,180W of ultrasonic power, ratioof material to solvent1:8(g/mL-1). And the parameters of the microwave extractiontechnology was as follows:44%ethanol as solvent,115s of microwave time,75%ofmicrowave power, ratio of material to solvent1:30(g/mL-1).The correlations between antimicrobial activity and the content of the flavonoids, totalphenolic, honokiol magnolol in Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis extract were studied, and theresults show that honokiol and magnolol may be the antibacterial active components.Antioxidant properties of Cortex Magnolia Officinal extracts were evaluated by monitoringthe2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), hydroxyl radical, superoxide anion radical, totalreducing power ability, the result indicated that DPPH, hydroxyl, superoxide anionscavenging capacities and total reducing power ability had good linear relationships withthe extractions concentration; the clearance rate reached95.79%(DPPH),68.2%(hydroxyl),75.38%(superoxide anion), respectively. The results showed that Cortex Magnolia Officinalhad effective antioxidants in vitro.The tested food additives after compounded with Cortex Magnolia Officinal extracts hadwider antibacterial spectrum. The inhibitory effect of compound which included of vitamin Cand Cortex Magnolia Officinal extracts on bacillus subtilis was the strongest; the compound of potassium sorbet and the extracts had the strongest effect on the bacillus subtilis, thecompound of nisin and the extracts had the strongest effect on rhizopus stolonifer andaspergillus niger. the compound of sodium dehydroacetate and the extracts have very goodsynergy on inhibiting aspergillus flavus, the compound of citric acid and the extracts hadthe strongest effect on saccharomycetes.The application of the Cortex Magnolia Officinal extracts in food antisepsis and protectsfresh were studied using worms, strips, Grape Red as raw materials, the results showed thatthe extracts has certain inhibition in fat oxidation and microbial growth, but compared to theblank group, there was no significant difference (P <0.05); the extracts has certain inhibitionin microbial growth on flour product and can effectively restrain sulfate acidity fromdecreasing, but compared to the blank group, there was no significant difference (P <0.05),the Cortex Magnolia Officinal extracts of different concentrations had no remarkable effecton the content of vitamin C, and it had remarkable effect on total plate count, there wassignificant difference (P <0.05) between the primary liquid group and the control group. |
