The nanoscale graphene platelets (NGPs) have unique structure characteristics, and unique mechanics, magnetism and electrical properties. These properties make NGPs are widely used in many fields. NGPs with their excellent electrochemical performance, in electrochemical sensor area have a very good prospect.Firstly, we took the NGPs with the method of Hummers as a base, then, fixed the glucose oxidase (GOD) and laccase (La) as anode and cathode of the biofuel cell, respectively. And the study showed the GOD on the NGPs film have very good electrocatalytic performance to glucose, the laccase on the NGPs film have excellent electrocatalytic performance to oxygen. Then, we built the diaphragm type glucose/oxygen biofuel cell. And in the battery voltage of+0.22V, the most high power density of the biofuel cell is57.8μW·cm-2Secondly, NGPs with easy reunion, difficult scattered shortcomings, therefore, In this article, we used the Pluronic block copolymers (P123) to nonvovalent functionalized NGPs. The functionalized NGPs had good dispersion in aqueous solution, and could even scattered on the solid substrate uniformity. Hemoglobin (Hb) fixed in the P123-NGPs composite membrane, could keep its original structure very good, and the hemoglobin coule realize the electronic directly transfer. The electronic transfer rate constant ks was (55.17±0.741) s-1And then we built the electrochemical biosensor of high sensitivity and stability, have excellent electricalcatalytic performance to hydrogen peroxide.In addition, we used the method of electricity deposition, to cover nanometer platinum on the NGPs film. The nanometer platinum with three-dimensional structure uniformly dispersed on the NGPs film, improved the active area of solid substrate, and the surface coverage on the NGPs film reached1.19×10-7mol·cm-2. Then, we built the nanometer Pt-NGPs electrochemical biosensor have excellent electricalcatalytic performance to ethanol and nitrite.
