Nd-Fe-B hydrogen decrepitation production process has been widely used in magneticmanufacturing process. However, some of the problems plagues magnets manufacturers in Nd-Fe-Bproduction, that is a lot of data in production is no way to online testing. Especially whether Nd-Fe-B alloys are crushed completely, and how to make Nd-Fe-B hydrogen decrepitation system alwaysbe in the best state in the production process to avoid a greater impact on yield and quality of thealloy powder due to changes of work conditions in production, these have great significance onimproving the economic benefits of company. In order to ensure the Nd-Fe-B hydrogendecrepitation system be in the best performance, good control parameters is very important.In this paper, the key link (hydrogen absorption and dehydrogenation) in Nd-Fe-B hydrogendecrepitation system was deeply analyzed and found that hydrogen decrepitation process hasnonlinearity, parameters time varying, coupling and other complex characteristics. These take greatdifficulties on determining the hydrogen absorption and dehydrogenation parameters includingtemperature, pressure, etc. Combining the mechanic of Ne-Fe-B hydrogen decrepitation, this paperdeeply analyzed the feasibility, merits and demerits and implementation methods of case-basedreasoning control algorithm based on history data in the control of hydrogen decrepitation process.The thought breaks out technical bottlenecks was proposed. Hydrogen decrepitation process is oneof the essential ways to produce high performance Ne-Fe-B magnet.This topic is one part of National Natural Science Fund project “Research on Data-drivenParallel Control Method in Ne-Fe-B Hydrogen Decrepitation Process”, the paper includes thefollowings:1Case-based reasoning control algorithm based on history process data was deeply analyzedand researched.2The implementation method of case-based reasoning control algorithm in the control of Ne-Fe-B hydrogen decrepitation process was researched, including the structure of feature library,structure of case library, solution (searching) algorithm of case and the modification andmaintenance of case;3The software and hardware design of the control system in hydrogen decrepitation processbased on case-based reasoning control algorithm was completed.
