Stretch bending process widely used in aircraft and automobile industry. The mostprominent problem in profile stretch-bending process is that it is difficult to controlbending springback accurately. Springback has been the impact on the quality of profilestretch bending of the important factors. Over the years, many scholars at home andabroad have made theoretical and experimental studies on the bending process of stretchbending to reduce parts bending at the springback and improve the quality of product.Especially in resent years, the entire field of plastic processing toward the development ofhigh-precision, high-efficiency direction, springback control is even more important.Besides, with the rapid development of computer technology and finite element numericalsimulation software matures, the feasibility of using the finite element simulation softwareto analyze various process has been more widely used, and the actual production has acertain significance.In this paper, summarized the stretch bending current research at home and abroadand its main research methods. The method for the detailed description of the variousprofiles of stretch bending, a new stretch bending process, using drawbead to providepre-tension in profile stretch bending process. This process method has some innovative.Firstly, application of elastic-plastic forming theory, on the the small curvature tabletstretch bending force theory sectional stress distribution and bending springbackexpression; Second, using simulation software ABAQUS simulize the stretch bendingprocess, simulation the results showed that: With the increase of drawbead moving, in theamount of pre-tension of the profile cross-section increases, the bending force is increasedwhen the profile tension, the bending springback after the bending radius decreases;Finally, designed the profile stretch bending experimental mold and experimentalverification found that the experimental data and numerical simulation results can bettermatch, further illustrate this new technology has some practical significance.
