Coal is China’s most important energy resources, industry’s rapid development isinseparable from the production of coal. In coal production process, ventilation equipmentplays an important role, it is shouldering the responsibility of safety production of coal mine.Main fan is important in coal mine ventilation equipment, the mine ventilation rely on itto complete, known as the heart of mine. So the improvement of main fan runningefficiency, improving the mode of operation, saving energy, make the main ventilationmachine with advanced level of automation has enormous realistic meanings.The content of this paper comes from the Shaanxi Jianxin Coal Mine to build the newmain fan in coal mine ventilation system transformation projects, before the renovation, thesystem control is simple, some key parameters monitoring precision is low, monitoringcontent is not comprehensive enough, not with the dispatch center information systemintegration. In the flow control, by people of making door baffle smaller, change the mainfan operation conditions to adjust the production needs of the air. So that not only the lowdegree of automation, but also caused a serious waste of electric energy.In order to solve the problems of the coal mine, first of all, Siemens S7-300PLC as thecore to control the main ventilation machine and related equipment operation, and real-timeacquisition fan’s air volume, air pressure, vibration and temperature and other parameters,the realization of the main fan ventilation system of automatic monitoring and control; andthen, using the Hitachi SJ700high performance dynamic inverter drive for main fanfrequency conversion operation, realize the fan inorganic smoothing speed, extendequipment life, saves the electric energy goals; finally, combining FameView PCconfiguration software and WEINVIEW touch screen applications, the realization of themain fan ventilation system for remote control and monitoring of real time parameterdisplay.Through the research of this paper, the PLC control technology, frequency conversiontechnology, configuration software and the touch screen on the organic combination of technology applied to the coal mine main fan ventilation system, to improve the automationlevel of system, prevent coal mine production safety accidents, ensure the safety, economy,fan running efficiently is an important theoretical value and practical significance.
